Yoga Recycled
The mission of Yoga Recycled is to inspire you. Practicing yoga
creates a transformation in an individual. It can inspire you to change your
beliefs about yourself and about the world. Inspired people can do amazing
things.
Yoga Recycled offers classes that are free of charge. What we ask in
return is that you perpetuate the purpose of the practice. For every hour that
you enjoy free yoga, donate that hour to something you believe in. Time is more
valuable than money. Time is the hard thing to give but contributes the most
good. Get involved here.
Take the energy you get from a yoga class and pass it on to make a positive difference in someone else's life.
The Founder
Yoga Recycled's founder understands the life-changing value of yoga practice. He has seen and experienced the countless positive benefits that come from learning to endure the physical and mental challenges yoga requires. It's worth the effort. The benefits far outweigh the costs and so now he wants to remove the cost and instead simply perpetuate the purpose of the practice – inspire people to be better and do good.
Dean Judd is a Provo, Utah native who started practicing yoga in 2001. He completed teacher training through It's Yoga in 2006 and has since taught over 1500 yoga classes — for free. Dean's philosophy is that yoga can have a place in everyone's life. No matter the demographic, yoga has something to offer every individual in any situation. Dean believes the benefits of this practice are for everyone. People have so much to offer each other that if one person is willing to give and another person is willing to receive then we're on the right path and the cycle begins.
Dean's attitude is rooted in his early experiences with yoga and is strongly influenced by his guru's, Larry Schultz, the late founder of the It's Yoga franchise and Rocket series; and Amy Williams, owner and teacher at 3B Yoga. These teachers opened the door for Dean to love yoga and they gave him invaluable insight into the discipline. What he's learned from them and others over his decade-long journey he's now taking to the streets to share on, share forth, and make the world a better place. Join him on this journey.
